Ori KolNew Gen is delighted to offer to young activists this limited-space skills training with Ori Kol, the founder of one of Israel’s strongest social media operations. Ori founded a grassroots movement for a more liberal and democratic Israel called Mehazkim, which now reaches two million people on its Facebook page monthly!

About Our Speaker

Ori Kol is the Digital Mobilization Officer at the Israeli Alliance and Founder/Chairman of Mehazkim, Israel’s largest liberal-leaning media project and digital movement, reaching over 2 million individuals and mobilizing tens of thousands every month. Since 2017, Ori has also been working for the Israeli Alliance, an organisation bent on molding a new generation of Israeli leaders committed to social change.

Meet our 2018 Naomi Chazan Fellows

Naomi Chazan Fellows 2018

The Naomi Chazan Fellowship is a year-long program that begins with a subsidized, 10-day study tour in Israel this summer. New Israel Fund of Canada’s four 2018-19 fellows will join two dozen changemakers in their 20s and 30s from across the UK, Australia, and the U.S. Through their tour, they’ll explore social justice issues in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

The fellows will then return home to Canada and work to engage Canadian Jewry on the issues, as well as take part in leadership seminars, and become part of a global network of young Jewish progressives. Continue reading
